Sydney Novak's father is a posthumous character in Netflix's I Am Not Okay With This. He is the father of Sydney and Liam Novak and the widower of Maggie Miller.
Biography[]
At some point Mr. Novak met Maggie Miller and the two fell in love. Mr. Novak then left for the military where he was caught in a nuclear accident. The accident killed every other member of his team and Mr. Novak was sent home.
Maggie described that after his incident, he was never the same and became very depressed. It is also implied that the explosion gave him powers which transferred to his daughter Sydney.
Mr. Novak hung himself in the basement without leaving a note one night.
